Over the years; the Karlen Agency has been collectively working together to support a series of local initiatives and outreach programs intended to provide support to deserving families & children in an effort to improve comfort and quality of life for them. With that being said for the next 90 days, we are proud to be directing all donations raised through our Rewards Program to the Baltimore Humane Society.

It can be heartbreaking walking through our community only to see an animal suffering from maltreatment or neglect. Depending on the situation, there are various ways in which we can help them.

Fortunately, pet adoption has seen quite the boost due to the recent pandemic. It’s no secret that many have turned to furry friends to keep them company and, in doing so; giving cats and dogs a loving home.

They partner veterans with overlooked shelter pets, offer fee-waived adoptions for First Responders, and offer reduced adoption fees for seniors, and for senior pets. They strive to end the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals by offering affordable spay, neuter, and wellness services, and by addressing the issues that cause people to surrender animals.
